The step on the tub is broke. I ‘m on buget and the tub itself is in good shape its just the tub step.
Use mosaic tiles. Reinforce it, cover it with concrete board and tile away. Could look kinda nice!

Be more specific. Is the whole step gone or just a hole there? Anyway, I would try some plywood or thick plastic and connect it with strong glue or nails. If wood is used be sure to seal it. Good luck!

You can fix the step with a fiberglass filler ("Bondo"), like they use on automobiles.
You need to know why the step broke tho… Most likely, the step does not have any support under it. I would attend to that first. Mobile home tubs are normally made of acrylic (a type of plastic), and have at least one access panel on them. I would make a small ‘box’ to fit under the step, to add support to it, then repair the break, with the "Bondo", sand it, and prime & paint it. Fitting the box under the step may take some flexibility on your part, lol, there’s not normally a whole lot of room under there.
You can pick up the auto body filler at any auto parts store, chain stores, and most home supply stores. Dont forget the ‘hardener’, lol…comes in a little tube usually. (The more hardener you add… the faster it sets… so follow the instructions! lol )
If you have a piece of the broken step, you can take with you, you can get paint to match its color at most places.
Whether you decide to tile or fill… put some support under that step.
Have Fun =D
