How To lose weight over summer?

I am 13 years old and weigh 145-160 probably. I have an elliptical in my basement and that’s all. My dog loves to go on walks but I never want to, but I want to start now, so I can do that everyday as well. I want to be about 90-115 when the summer’s over. Can anyone provide me with a day-by-day plan to help me lose weight. Also, my parents and siblings work, so if you could give easy meals to prepare that are healthy, that would be great!

You can take your dog on walks every morning and evening, and swimming helps to burn alot of calories, which is perfect for the summer. Also, if you run or jog everyday, you’ll be able to sweat, which loses weight as well. Trust me-summer is the best season to lose weight because you can ’sweat it off’! Try not to turn on the air conditioner until you can’t stand it, and try jogging in the mornings. Also, sit-ups and push-ups help as well, but you don’t have to do so many.
You don’t want to loose too much weight too fast, because that’s really not a good thing-it’s unhealthy.
As for Healthy meals, try not to make anything on the stove because you’ll have to use oil. Three basic things that you need to know: cut off the sugar and cut down on the oil and meat. So for breakfast a bowl of cheerios and milk is the best. Lunch? A simple sandwich with baloney or ham-no cheese, but lettuce. If that doesn’t fill you up, make a side dish of baby carrots and ranch dressing or celery and a non-fat cream cheese. Only eat meat at lunch so that you’ll have time to work it all off before dinner. As for dinner, sometimes you can fill you stomach with watermelon and go to sleep early, you won’t notice the lack of a meal. But you don’t need to do this every day, just every two to three days is fine. Dinner should be simple and not heavy. Remember that any oil or meat that you eat will become fat because you won’t be able to work it off before bed so try to keep it light. Make sure you get plently of sleep of every day. If you can keep this diet up then you’ll be able to lose much weight! I know that you will be very hungry after you exercise and if that is the case then make a quick snack of fruit, or veggies-in-ranch. These are healthy foods that are good for you and will not harm you.
Here is a method I learned while visiting my grandparents: Curl your fingers into fists and place them at the very bottom tip of your ribs. Then, push down hard until your fists reach your waist, moving them in as they go down until they touch at your waist. Repeat the motion again and again for about thirty minutes every night while standing. This is a way to lose weight, but if you keep a healthy diet and exercise a lot, then it will work faster. Keep doing this procedure even after you lose alot of weight because this will help you maintain your figure for the rest of your life.
Remember: this is not a diet that you can use whenever: you must maintain this diet for, well, as long as you live if you want to keep your figure. Of course, after you get into the 90-115 pound range you can begin to eat a little more sugar when you are craving, but if you don’t crave it, please don’t eat it! Try not to give in to temptation and remember that your figure is the most important; not satisfaction of your mouth at the moment.
Good luck, and if you want more advice just post it here on answers.yahoo.com

Start running about 4 days of the week. try 1 mile first and casually build up. take your dog on daily walks/runs. and if you need encouragement ask your friends to run with you. and if you decide to run farther make sure to drink alot of water! if you run by a fast food restraunt most of them have free water. but listen getting down to 90 pounds is not good for your health. if you can add how tall you are. depending on your height helps determine how much you should weigh. oh and dont eat so much junk-food. eat healthy!! that helps alot. and if you want to eat a salad remember putting alot of junk on that salad makes it well.. unhealthy. so try different dressings like italian. or something like that. i really hope this helped you!!!!! good luck! :D

My mom is very much like an expert in dieting and I’ve learned everything from her. She’s 49 years old and is maintaining a size 4 petite. If she can do it then you most certainly can! Remember: patience and perseverence!

Any distance is walk able if you have the time, so consider walking to places that you would normally drive (such as work or the market if they’re not too far away). It may take you longer, but the health benefits will last you a lifetime.Get down at a block before your destination and walk the rest of the way. You might not have time to fit in long walks in your busy schedule so this is one way of ensuring that you at least get to walk for a little bit every day. If you take the bus or the subway, get down at an earlier station and see if you can walk the rest of the way. If you drive to work, see if you can get space in a parking lot that is a little away from your office.

Try breathing exercises. You might be surprised to know that breathing exercises too can lead to weight loss. If you are doing the breathing exercises properly, you will find that you can exert a lot of pressure on the muscles around the mid section. You can feel a tightening of these muscles each time you breathe in or breathe out. So go ahead and breathe properly, it is good for you.
